313 Little Libraries just got a HUGE boost in the form of a random act of little library kindness from a fan who wishes to remain anonymous.
This man discovered a book distributor’s warehouse that had recently been abandoned. He called Kim, the founder of this movement, and asked if 313 Little Libraries could use “148 crates of brand new books.”
Kim is a little overwhelmed by the generosity…and all those books. The first 313 Little Libraries will be going up next month when a trailer full of very special libraries (more on that later) arrive with the much-adored founder of the Little Free Library global movement — Todd Bol. (Big news is brewing about where those first 313 Little Libraries will go, but we can’t say yet.)
We can say that they’ll be stocked with beautiful new books — and plenty of Detroit authors!
A HUGE Thank-You! to the mystery man who made this random act of library kindness for Detroit.
